In Matthew 19:14, Jesus says, “Let the little children come to Me.” Every evening, Adelaide, Bennett, and I scour the tattered children’s Bible for pictures of Jesus. Once they find Him, their squeals of delight are unlike anything else. Hearing our children come to our Lord with a level of innocence and purity only those with Down syndrome can have, is a blessing all its own. Many times, I make life harder than it is. Maybe you can relate. I hope tonight, as we think over our day, we can keep life simple as we search for Jesus hidden in the pages of our lives.
